Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated Account Manager to join our Tauranga team. This is a key role responsible for managing and growing customer accounts within the region, ensuring that each client receives personalised service that meets their unique needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship-building skills, commercial acumen, and a proactive approach to identifying and delivering solutions that drive business growth.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, providing excellent customer service
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their business and product needs
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order transactions
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs

Skills & Experience

  Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in account management /sales or experience within the foodservice, hospitality, or      FMCG sectors.
  • Have a passion for food.
  • Capabilities to build strong client relationships and meet sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage      stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities efficiently.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Solid commercial awareness and understanding of the foodservice industry.
  • Proficient and comfortable using digital tools and technology.
