Delivery Driver - Class 2 - Storeperson
Bidfood Hamilton is looking for a reliable delivery driver to become a crucial part of our ever expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
-Must have proven Class 2 driving experience
- Hold a current Full Class 2 licence
- Make deliveries as directed
- Maintain schedules of delivery and keep within timetables
- Handle company stock with care
- Take responsibility for assigned truck. Notify the company when service and other maintenance is required. Notify the company of any accidents or damage to the vehicle
- Present yourself for work in clean and tidy clothes that are in line with the company policy on Driver uniforms
- Deal with the company’s customers in a courteous and respectful manner
- Ensure that the highest levels of food safety and health and safety are maintained
- Keep delivery vehicle clean and tidy in accordance with company cleaning policies
- Help pack, load, and deliver all stock off invoice for delivery runs.
- Adhere to all driving/road law and company policies/limits at all times including digital ERoad logbook
Store Person
- Putting stock away in location
- Receive and check off inwards goods
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners
- Assist with onsite customer collections
- Assist with other sundry duties as directed by your manager
You will be required to lift up to 25kg and work throughout all warehouse areas including the freezer at -22 degrees.
