About the Role
We are looking for a detail-focused Inventory & Stock Controller who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and making sure stock records are accurate. This role works closely with Warehouse, Dispatch, Purchasing and Food Safety teams to ensure inventory integrity is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouse areas.
· Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and inventory variances.
· Complete stock adjustments and reconciliations in line with company procedures.
· Support rolling stocktakes and full warehouse stocktakes.
· Monitor inventory movements and location accuracy within the WMS.
· Assist with training and coaching staff on inventory and WMS processes.
· Support Food Safety, FIFO and Health & Safety requirements.
· Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
· Experience in inventory control, stock control or warehouse operations.
· Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
· A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
· Foodservice, FMCG, logistics or distribution experience would be an advantage.
