Are you a reliable and organized individual with a passion for the foodservice industry? Join our team as an Inwards Goods Storeperson and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Goods: Accurately check and record all incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Stock Control: Ensure proper storage of all food and non-food products in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and maintain stock levels, ensuring efficient rotation of stock (FIFO).
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment and prevent any accidents.
• Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and update digital systems for inventory tracking.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and accurate stock distribution.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a store person, warehouse, or inventory role is preferred (foodservice experience is a bonus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift license (desirable).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items when required.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
