Bidfood is one of New Zealand’s leading foodservice wholesalers, proudly supplying restaurants, bars, hotels, and more nationwide. We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Liquor Specialist to help grow our liquor category and strengthen our customer and supplier partnerships.

What you’ll do:

• Build strong relationships with liquor suppliers and stay on top of trends and product availability.
   
• Work closely with Purchasing to manage stock, reduce out-of-stocks, and keep our range relevant.
   
• Develop trusted relationships with customers and support Account Managers with product knowledge.
   
• Help drive sales, profitability, and category growth.
   
• Support marketing activity through product promotions, features, and EDMs.
   

What you’ll bring:

• You must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a liquor industry management role with proven sales success and strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
   
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
   
• Organised, proactive, and customer-focused.
   

What we offer:

• The role will guarantee at least 30-40 hours of work per week. The base salary for the role will be between $75,000-$80,000.
   
• There is the possibility of vehicle allowance or company car, fuel card, iPad, and mobile phone.
   
• Staff purchasing account (after 3 months) – buy groceries, meat & produce at cost + GST.
