About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Shift Produce Supervisor to lead our nocturnal operations in Christchurch. You will oversee a dedicated team of 16 warehouse operatives, ensuring our fresh produce meets the highest standards before distribution. Pay rate competitive with allowances over $30.00 hour
We're looking for an experienced leader to oversee our night shift fresh produce operation in Hornby. You'll lead a team of up to 16 , to ensure customer orders are packed accurately and leaving our warehouse with the highest fresh produce standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse, logistics, food production, distribution, or team leadership experience who enjoys taking ownership and leading from the front.
Forklift experience preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Train: Manage, motivate, and coordinate 16 night-shift team members, actively training them in outgoing quality control standards.
- Outgoing Quality Control: Inspect outgoing produce orders for final freshness and premium presentation before dispatch.
- Timely Packing: Monitor shift workflows to ensure all customer orders are packed accurately and efficiently
- Forklift Operations: Safely operate forklifts to move and stack produce pallets. (training and licence can be provided)
- Maintain Standards: Ensure food safety and food quality standards.
- Safety First: Enforce warehouse health and safety protocols throughout the shift.
