We are looking for an Op’s superstar to join us in the sunshine capital of NZ. Due to an internal promotion, we have this fantastic opportunity. If you have had experience leading teams, worked in a fast paced environment and planning/organising is your thing, then keep reading.
This is a hands-on role and yes, it will be challenging! Bring your growth mind-set, your positive outlook and ability to find solutions when others are left scratching their heads. You will be given a full handover, ongoing support and guidance from the HoD team and the General Manager, we will do this together.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the warehouse, nightshift and distribution functions.
- Staff management in respect to recruitment, productivity, accuracy and training.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems.
- Motivate and manage your staff through goal setting, listening, coaching, timely feedback and performance reviews
- Ensure all plant, vehicle and equipment is kept compliant, maintained and in a safe and efficient condition.
- Create a positive, enthusiastic workforce who takes ownership
