We are looking for a suitable person to join our team at Bidfood Invercargill in the position of Produce Assistant. This is a Monday to Friday role. Hours of work are 6am to 2.30pm. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately pick and pack orders ready to load onto trucks for delivery to our customers. We require specific focus on the following areas,

• Timely and accurate picking of customer orders.
• Attention to detail - no short cuts. 
• Efficient and safe loading of our delivery vehicles.
• Great communication skills including written and verbal.
• Team Player and also able to work unsupervised.
• Assisting customers coming into the branch to pick up orders.
• Dealing with Suppliers and daily ordering of specific product.
• Flexibility to do occasional over-time.

Please make no mistake this is a physical job requiring urgency accompanied with accuracy. This position requires individuals to be physically fit and healthy as there is frequent lifting of heavy product involved. Also working in a temperature-controlled environment at a temperature of 5 degrees is also a requirement.
