Store Person Nightshift 6:30pm - 3:00am
We are a leading Foodservice supplier in Northland, driven by hard work and a passion for good food. Supplying to a wide variety of environments (including rest homes, hospitals, prisons, cafes/restaurants etc.), we are a small team of relaxed yet professional group of people that thrives on delivering exceptional service. We are looking for an energetic Store Person to join our night shift team here in Whangarei.
This is quite a physically demanding job which can require you to move up to loads of 25kgs - You need to be physically fit.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
- Accurate picking, packing and loading stock for our delivery vehicles
- Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse
- Assisting with other duties in the operation where needed
- Working & communicating with fellow team members maintaining a positive environment, can – do attitude.
- Compliance with food safety requirements
- Continuity of health and safety checks
- Attention to product handling i.e. damages during picking and loading
- FIFO stock rotation (first in - first out)
Days of work will be between Sunday - Thursday nights and every 2nd Friday from 6:30pm to 3am.
We offer a competitive hourly rate along with excellent staff benefits and a nightshift allowance.
Experience in a warehouse operation would be an advantage but not required as full training will be given.
