Streets Icecream - Van Sales Delivery Driver
Bidfood is a rapidly expanding and leading Food Distribution company in New Zealand and we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Route Convenience Sales Team! About the Role:
- Salary start rate $65,000pa + Commission
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (guaranteed 45 hours per week) – No weekend work! Enjoy your free weekends for personal pursuits.
- Class 2 NZ Driver's License is mandatory
In this role, you'll deliver globally recognised brands like Streets Ice Cream, Ben & Jerry's, Mrs. Macs and Dad's Pies to the Convenience channel.
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver top-quality ice cream, beverages and food brands within your designated territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in your area, taking pride in your role.
- Merchandise products effectively into freezers for optimal visibility.
- Meet and exceed sales budgets.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this dynamic environment, you should be a proactive team player with a strong 'can-do' attitude and exceptional customer service skills. Your role will involve engaging with a variety of convenience trade customers, taking orders, merchandising and ensuring effective display of promotional materials. Attention to detail and persuasive communication are key.
You’ll also have opportunities to build and nurture customer relationships and gain valuable experience in project management for new product launches and strategizing new sales opportunities.
