Streets Merchandiser & Junior Account Manager
Bidfood Queenstown is a food supply business based in stunning Queenstown, and we’re on the lookout for a motivated and energetic Merchandiser / Junior Account Manager to join our team. You’ll be working closely with the iconic Streets Ice Cream brand – think Magnum, Paddle Pop, Cornetto, and more.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with plenty of variety. You’ll spend most of your time out and about, visiting stores, updating and maintaining displays, placing orders and building great relationships with our customers.
But here’s where it gets exciting — this isn’t just a merchandising role. It's also your first step into account management. You’ll start by supporting our sales team and gradually take on responsibility for some of our smaller customer accounts. With support and training, you’ll learn how to manage customer relationships, grow sales, and solve day-to-day challenges — all while building the foundation to become a full Account Manager in the future.
What you'll be doing:
- Merchandising Streets Ice Cream freezers across Queenstown and beyond
- Ensuring displays are well-stocked, clean and looking sharp
- Placing orders and working with store teams to manage inventory
- Building strong relationships with customers and supporting their needs
- Learning the ropes of account management and supporting the sales team
What we're looking for:
- A friendly, reliable go-getter who enjoys being on the road
- Great attention to detail and pride in doing a quality job
- Someone with strong people skills – you’ll be the face of our brand!
- A full NZ driver’s license
- Previous merchandising, retail or food service experience is a bonus, but not essential – we’ll train the right person!
