Bidfood Auckland South is seeking a hands‑on, people‑focused Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operation of our warehouse across the day  shift. This is a key leadership role supporting our Dayshift Operations Manager and ensuring our customers receive outstanding service every time.

As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end operation of our warehouse, including:

• Leading, motivating, and developing Warehouse Supervisors and storeperson teams. 
• Ensuring accurate stock management, including stock takes, investigations, stock integrity and variance reporting. 
• Managing inbound and outbound operations, container devanning, loading, and dispatch efficiency.
• Upholding high standards of Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance across all warehouse activities. 
• Improving warehouse processes and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working closely with Purchasing, Stock Control, Dispatch, and Operations to ensure smooth workflow and excellent service levels.

This is a leadership role that requires strong operational capability, clear communication, and the ability to coach and inspire others.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven leadership experience in a foodservice, FMCG, or logistics warehouse environment.
• Strong inventory management and stock integrity experience, including stock investigations and variance control.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• A commitment to accuracy, safety, and operational discipline.
• Experience leading teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of Food Safety (FCP/HACCP) and Health & Safety obligations.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and shifts.
