Customer Service Representative

Our incredible Customer Service team at Bidfood Hawkes Bay operates from 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 12pm Saturdays (Rostered). This is a full-time position.
We offer comprehensive support and training for our successful candidate, but we're looking for an enthusiastic individual who can hit the ground running. You should be able to quickly adapt to new systems and processes, have a solid background in customer service and administration, excel in Microsoft Office applications and database systems, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide exceptional support to our valued customers through various channels (phone, email, chat).
- Listen actively to customer concerns and resolve issues with a positive attitude and in a timely manner.
- Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and handling returns or exchanges.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
- Be the face of our brand and leave a lasting impression with every interaction.
About You:
We are looking for people with;
- Natural customer centric approach to their work
- Fluent English communication skill in both verbal and writing.
- Ability to analyse and relay complex information in a clear, concise manner
- Confidence in navigating computer systems
- Empathetic listening skills when dealing with sensitive/emotive circumstances.
- Resilience and ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Excellent telephone etiquette and e-mail skills.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a history of reliability. Experience in a food distribution or related industry is preferred. Opportunities for future growth and development exist for the right person.
