WMS Coordinator & 2nd In Charge, Supervisor NS
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Management Systems Coordinator & 2nd In charge, (Supervisor) - Nightshift with extensive knowledge in the field to be part of our busy, fast paced, leading food Distribution Company, in New Zealand.
Bidfood has an opportunity for a Permanent Full Time position, in our Warehouse team, based at our distribution centre in Islington, Christchurch.
This role is full time, with a minimum 30 hours guaranteed. Days of work will be, Sunday to Friday, with a rostered day off every second week. Hours of work will be 18:30-03:30. However, during busy periods, there may be a requirement to work later hours.
Hourly rate: $30.00
About you:
To be successful to the nature and priority of this role, we require a range of experience in the fields below, including:
- Proficiency in Interlogic Multipick warehouse management software, V5 system.
- Ability to train staff in the use of the Interlogic Multipick warehouse management software, V5 system.
- Knowledge regarding product handling, including;
- Frozen, Dry and Chilled goods.
- Chemical handling.
- Fresh meat handling.
- Experience in stocktake operations, including:
- Inventory control
- Investigating stock discrepancies
- Stock adjustments and variance corrections
- Solid understanding of stock rotation management (FIFO), including:
- Stock reconciliation
- Inventory level monitoring
- Minimising stock loss
- Streamlining stock through regular reviews and procedural improvements
- Full knowledge and experience of food safety processes, including:
- HACCP and Food Control Plan (FCP) in accordance with the Food Safety Act 2014
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently with a proven track record of unsupervised performance
- Strong leadership experience, including:
- Supervising large shift teams
- Participating in staff recruitment
- Experience in on-the-job warehouse training and conducting staff performance reviews
